“The Vampire Diaries” is getting three more baddies for Season 7.
Variety has learned the CW has filled the roles of Valerie, Nora and Mary Louise, all whom make their debut in the first episode back.
Elizabeth Blackmore has been cast as Valerie, one of Lily Salvatore’s dangerous heretics with powerful magic and a dark, moody attitude. She has difficulty adjusting to life in Mystic Falls and is opposed to the pacifist instructions Lily has given to the heretics. Focused on revenge, Valerie will take matters into her own hands and start a dangerous chain of events that will change Mystic Falls.
Scarlett Byrne and Teressa Liane will play couple Nora and Mary Louise, respectively. Nora, another heretic who’s described as cute in a tomboyish way, has a sly sense of humor and potent magic. She is less interested in coexisting with the residents of Mystic Falls and more excited by retaliation and mayhem. Mary Louise, also a heretic with strong magic, is girly, feisty and isn’t afraid to express her strong point of view.
The three new characters will team up to wreak havoc. At Comic-Con this past weekend, showrunner Julie Plec teased that the trio as “nasty, nasty, nasty girls.”
